Good morning (afternoon) from a hot and muggy Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We were not here for the start of practice. We met Paul Dalbey and his son, Jackson, at Charlie Brown’s this morning for breakfast. Unfortunately, a lot of race fans had the same idea. We had to wait for our table, but it was well worth the wait. As we were in the parking lot, we could hear the cars on track for the start of the first practice.

It is even more meaningful to me today, because today is our wedding anniversary. 12 years ago today, George and I finally joined our lives together at probably our favorite place on earth—the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
