I trust everyone had a good Thanksgiving. It was good to push away from the daily grind. That’s not to say we did nothing. I got a lot done around the house and Susan put on one heck of a spread for our Thanksgiving dinner, which also included her two sons and my daughter.

Once again, we have reached the time of year to reflect on what we are most thankful for. First of all, I am thankful that I have been able to maintain this site over the past fourteen and a half years. It is still something I enjoy, mostly from the comments, e-mails and texts I receive from everyone that comes here three times a week. I’ve always said that this site may not have the most readers; but those that come here are among the most knowledgeable, most civilized and most loyal IndyCar fans out there. It’s rare that readers argue, get unruly or troll this site. I am very grateful for that.

This past Monday, we learned what had been long assumed was finally confirmed. Graham Rahal has signed a multi-year extension with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLLR). While it sounds like it should have been a given, I’m not sure it was as automatic as some think – and it shouldn’t have been.

Almost two and a half years after the NTT IndyCar Series announced a deal for a new IndyCar racing sim ro be released in 2023, Penske Entertainment now finds themselves where they were before July 2021 announcement – nowhere. After more than a year of rumors of financial struggles with Mortorsports Games, Inc (MSG), the developer hired to design and produce the game, the plug has finally been pulled on the game – for now.

In case you have been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, The IMS Museum is now officially closed for the next eighteen months. It’s hard to believe anyone closely following the sport wouldn’t know this. I wrote about it here a couple of weeks ago, but the museum did a good job inundating social media for about the final ten days they were open – letting everyone know this would be their last chance to visit.
