Crossing Over to the Dark Side

Although it has not been made official yet, all indications are that Tony Kanaan will be driving in the 107th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Last Friday, Marshall Pruett of Racer.com reported that the 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner would be driving a fourth car for Arrow McLaren SP in 2023.

New Ground for the Music City Grand Prix

If you are a sports fan, you may have heard that the Tennessee Titans and the Mayor of Nashville have reached an agreement to build a new domed stadium to the tune of $2.2 Billion. Since that was announced Monday morning, I have been contacted by many asking how this will affect the Music City Grand Prix. I guess since I live in Nashville, I am supposed to be the de facto expert on all things Nashville. That’s a scary thought.

If you are a regular reader of this site, you know that two years ago – my wife, Susan, underwent treatment and surgery for pancreatic cancer. When things were looking so positive for her in spring of 2021, I told her if she got herself well, I would take her on a non-racing vacation to anywhere she wanted to go.
