Yesterday we learned the Andretti Global has entered into a partnership with Cadillac of General Motors, to help Michael Andretti land the coveted berth in Formula One that he has been seeking for what seems like forever. This satisfies one of the main obstacles that had been cited as preventing Andretti to be admitted as an eleventh team – the introduction of a new OEM to Formula One.

Welcome to 2023! It’s good to be back for another year at Oilpressure.com. We had a good Christmas, but I think I learned one thing about myself. Although I will reach the magical age of 65 later this fall – twelve straight days off around the house has shown me that I may not be ready to retire from my day job anytime soon. It got old. I think Susan was also ready for me to go back to work on Tuesday.

How Will This One Shake Out?

Here we are with a few days left in 2022, and almost all of the seats for the 2023 IndyCar season are already filled. The only remaining question marks that I can think of are at Dale Coyne Racing, Juncos Hollinger Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing; unless Ed Carpenter decides to run another driver in the car he will run in the Indianapolis 500 and perhaps the other ovals.
