My Technological Dilemma

If you think it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, you are correct. There are a few reasons for that. Most importantly, Susan was hospitalized over the weekend. Last Thursday afternoon, I got home from work and found her on the couch. That may sound normal to some people, but she likes to be active. She was lethargic and talking a little goofy. I took her temperature and she had a fever of 104.9˚. That was not a typo.

The Dominos are Starting to Fall

When it was officially announced that Will Power would not be returning for an eighteenth season at Team Penske, that put several things in motion and the dominos started falling after that. Honestly, there was not a lot of drama by the time the Power announcement was released right at 10:00 am EDT on Tuesday. Most would have been more surprised if he had stayed by that point. The only perceived drama was the wording on the Team Penske release that said “…Will felt like it was time for him to make a change.”

Random Thoughts on Nashville

And just like that, the IndyCar season is over. The season started out slowly. Through the first four races, there was only one caution throughout that span – the opening lap of the opening race at St. Petersburg. Not that I like to watch cars crash, but restarts help to spice up the show. It also didn’t help that Alex Palou opened the season by winning five of the first six races. For the most part, the championship was decided by the end of April. It was a great display of driving on Palou’s part, but there was not a whole lot of suspense going into each race.
