What a great weekend of racing we witnessed this past weekend! Fears of a repeat of Iowa were sort of dispelled on Friday, when it was obvious that the upper and lower lines on the track were working. Few things give away the fact that it is more than 120 years-old. The old covered wooden stands were demolished about 25 years ago, and held about half as many people. These modern stands are uncovered, but have nice amenities. All rows have backs like IMS, but the upper rows even have seats with individual backs with armrests – much like most current NFL stadiums.
