Random Thoughts on St. Petersburg

Whether it’s subconscious or not, I’m always trying to talk up IndyCar at work to all of my co-workers. Those that have been around me for a while are immune to it, but those that are fairly new are sometimes intrigued at my life outside of the office. There were a few newer employees that seemed to be open to the idea of spending the first morning of Daylight Saving Time lounging around and tuning in to the start of the new season for the NTT IndyCar Series.

St. Petersburg Preview

I think I’ve used this line before, but our long nightmare is over. The 2024 season for the NTT IndyCar Series, officially gets underway today. I usually despise change, but I welcome all of the changes we are going to see regarding drivers at new teams, cars with new liveries and a general sense of newness that each season-opener brings this weekend at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

A Change of Plans

I’m back from Idaho. I had a great time visiting with my son, his family and especially my grandson. I did have a chance to ask as a few Boise residents if they had heard of Sting Ray Robb. Unfortunately, they had not. Oh well, maybe that will change if he has a decent season.
