While most of the racing world awoke on Easter morning to the news that motorsports icon, Sir Stirling Moss had passed away at the age of 90; the IndyCar community was mourning a more personal loss.

One part of the new IndyCar schedule that was released on Monday that has been sort of overlooked by fans and the media is the IndyCar Harvest Grand Prix to be held on Saturday October 3 on the IMS road course. While the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is said to be the conditional season-finale, I still have my doubts that it will run in the fall.

Some people have built careers making outlandish statements that they don’t even believe themselves – just to boost up their ratings or internet clicks. I don’t do that. Thoughts & Photos From Barber 2009-2019

This past weekend was supposed to have been the eleventh running of the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. It ended up being the second lost weekend of IndyCar racing. Some took solace in watching the iRacing event at Barber Motorsports Park that was broadcast live on NBCSN. I watched about ten minutes of the virtual race at Watkins Glen last weekend, but didn’t watch a minute from Barber. It just doesn’t do it for me. If it helps you get through this period, then that’s great. Different people deal with this time in different ways.
Without a Leg to Stand On

The other night, I was reading through this week’s Robin Miller’s Mailbag on Racer.com, when a reader’s question caught my eye. I won’t copy & paste it here, because it is way too long.
