Good Morning From Legends Day

geothumbnail10
Good morning from a sunny and steamy Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As I type, the two-seater is giving rides to some lucky people. The driver’s meeting starts at 10:30 and then my favorite part – the vintage cars – are at 11:15.

My brother and his crew made it in from North Carolina last night. We’ll make our annual trip to the museum this afternoon, but Susan plans to use that time to come up to the Media Center and write a post, so be sure and come back later this afternoon to check it out.

The rains are supposed to show up late afternoon. The forecast for Sunday is only slightly better this morning. It’s down from 90% to 80%. But I recall last year, when it was assumed we wouldn’t get the full race in – it was never even a factor. Let’s keep finger’s crossed.

I’ll be posting photos on Twitter, but will not be posting anymore today, but please check back for Susan’s post. Follow me on Twitter at @Oilpressure.com and Susan at @MrsOilpressure. Check back later.

  1. Ron Ford Says:

Doing a Google check for Indianapolis weather on Sunday shows about a 40-50 percent of rain at 10 AM. and tapering off after that.
