Good afternoon from IMS, amd welcome to Fast Friday! We had a nice drive up, until we approached I-465, where there was a huge pile-up. We cut through neighborhoods and finally arrived at the track at 2:00 pm EDT – just as the cars were taking the track for the rain delay.

Jack Harvey turned the first 230+ lap of the month. For the past hour, the fastest lap has belonged to Alexander Rossi, who posted a 232.392mph lap. I have an idea that will not be the fastest lap by the end of the day.

I’d like to say there’s a buzz around here, but there’s not. Maybe that’s because of the dark skies, the shortened day, or a not-great forecast for Saturday – but this may be one of the deadest (if that’s a word) that I’ve seen. We are going to mill about and see if things have picked up any.
