Falling Short, With Good Intentions

This past Thursday and Friday, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was the site of a four-car test, conducted by IndyCar to further develop the hybrid engines for 2024. That was to be my topic for the day, but a funny thing happened over the past few days – I got COVID.

I’ll be fine, but if you’ve ever had COVID, you know that more than anything – you just want to sleep. This is my second bout with COVID. The first time was easy – just one bad day, and then I felt fine. This one has been a lot rougher. In all honesty, I just didn’t feel like sitting at a keyboard and pulling thoughts out of my clouded mind. So my intentions were good, but I fell a little short.

Please come back Wednesday, when I’m sure I’ll feel good enough to produce a lucid post. Thanks for your patience.

And COVID can get nasty in some cases, so yeah, take care!
