Welcome to Road America!

We were BOTH moving slowly this morning, but we are finally all checked in and settled at Road America. They have a new automated system here, where you check in online before arriving. When we showed our phones, we didn’t even need to get out of the car – they brought our credentials and parking pass to us.

We then got our golf cart and I followed Susan to the media center and got checked in there. I took this photo of Susan just as we got situated in our seats. She’s tired, but happy.

One of the many things I like about Road America is that are constantly making upgrades. The walkway outside the media center has been given a fresh coat of paint with spiffy designs with the RA logo.

Susan is still moving gingerly, but I can already see an improvement over yesterday.

She is hungry (that’s a good sign), so we are going to go grab a bite and see what other changes have taken place at the National Park of Speed.

The NTT IndyCar Series has extended practice from a guaranteed forty-five minutes of practice within a on-hour window, to a seventy-five minute practice with no window allowance for red flags. Today’s practice begins at 3:30 local time (CDT). Please check back later.
