We have finally arrived at Gateway Motorsports Park. We had no delays, but we were watching the radar and knew that there was nothing going on at the track due to heavy showers. Well, guess what? There’s still nothing going on. As I type at 3:25, Verizon IndyCar Series drivers are just now crawling into their cars.

Practice has just started. Qualifying is currently scheduled for 5:30, but I’m wondering if that may change since that only allows one hour between practice and qualifying. We are about to head out and watch practice. I’ll be back for a quick update afterwards.
