Sonsio Grand Prix–Race Day
Good morning from a sun-drenched Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The small chance of rain that existed for this morning has been taken out of the forecast. The forecast now sounds perfect – clear blue skies and a high of 71°. There is enough of a breeze to make things interesting foir the drivers.
We ate dinner at Dawson’s last night, and we both got something different from what we usually get, After burgers and fries at The Workingman’s Friend, we both wanted something a little lighter. Susan had Salmon and I got the Shrimp & Pasta Alfredo. Both were very good. There will be plenty of time for breaded pork tenderloins this month.
Speaking of tenderloins, there is a new concessions vendor at IMS. Levi had held the contract for the past decade or so, but they are out and Aramark is in. We went by the Alley Cat stand behind the Pagoda, just to look at the new menu. Gthere were some interesting looking items, but what caught my eye was the tenderloin for $12.50. Ouch! Ten years ago, the Classic Jumbo Tenderloin was $6.00. Ouch!
The cars are now on track for the morning warm-up, and we are going down there. Please check back after the race.

I don’t get the fifty cents on a $12.50 tenderloin, round it up to $13, It’s the same if it was $12.99, Thank you for the concession report. Did you take notice of the bottle water cost at the IMS?
