Good morning from a dry (for once) Nissan Stadium, which is the focal point for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. For the first time this weekend, I drove here in dry weather and actually had to wear sunglasses on my way in. It is partly cloudy with some dark clouds hanging around. I would love for it to stay dry, but based on this weekend – you never know.

Susan did not join me today. She has not been feeling well this week, and the heat really got to her on Friday. We are planning to travel to Indianapolis next weekend for the IndyCar portion of the Brickyard weekend. Hopefully, she will rebound and be ready to go.

The Indy NXT race is currently going on and has been somewhat of a crashfest so far. I hope this isn’t a foreshadowing of what the NTT IndyCar Series race will be like.

I’m going to go grab a bite to eat and then head for the paddock and the pits, since the race starts in an hour and a half.
