Oilpressure Takes A Break
Although my movers came on Sunday, there is still a lot of “stuff” in my house that I must be out of by Saturday. Couple that with the fact that at work, I have to deal with end of fiscal year reports and deadlines and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m running on fumes this week, so something has got to give. Unfortunately, that something is this site.
It’s been a busy two months, with my IMS wedding during qualifying weekend, the Indianapolis 500 the following weekend, a weeklong honeymoon afterwards and then the moving and work crunch I just mentioned.
Therefore, I will take today and Friday off – since the IZOD IndyCar Series is doing the same. I will return on Monday July 2 and will hopefully be back to semi-normal. Thanks for your patience and please come back next week.

George, take care of yourself and don’t burn the candle at both ends and the middle! Save up all the news coming out of IndyCar this week and give us your usual trenchant observations on monday.

“okay, put the Unser family action figures over there…and the Penske ashtray collection up on that shelf…the Rick Mears cardboard cut-out goes in the corner…and I guess we’ll have to put the lifesize replica of Turn One at Indy in the backyard…”
good luck on your move.
